All communications between our firm and the user are encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This is the same functionality used by banks and popular e-commerce services for secure communication. We also store your files encrypted when they are at rest on our servers, adding an additional layer of security. To protect against data loss, our servers are equipped with technology that automatically mirrors all data in real-time to two separate locations. Regular incremental and full backups of all system data are performed, including off-site data backups stored in two separate secure physical locations, to protect against almost all disaster scenarios.

Our Team
Tod M. Utter, CPA

Mr. Utter began his career in 1988 as an auditor in State Government with the Indiana State Board of Accounts. His public accounting career began in 1992 working with a variety of small businesses and individuals primarily in the areas of taxation and estate planning. In 1997 he became a partner in the public accounting firm of Schafer, Lawrence & Utter, LLP working mainly with McDonald's Owner/Operators in central Indiana. In 2005 he became a founding and managing partner of UK CPA Group, LLP where he continues his work in franchise accounting, taxation and consulting. Mr. Utter lives on the City's northeast side and has two children.

Mr. King joined the accounting firm of Schafer & Lawrence as a staff accountant in 1996. His work with a variety of small businesses and individuals while specializing in McDonald's franchisee tax accounting has earned him the respect of the clients that he serves. He is a founding partner of UK CPA Group, LLP where he continues to advise clients at the highest level in the areas of accounting, tax, and business systems. Mr. King and his wife live on the City's east side.

Amy joined the firm in July 2018 as our accounting clerk. Her primary responsibility is processing weekly payrolls for our clients, while also assisting in managing payroll liabilities and general bookkeeping. She owned a retail garden center and landscape company for 15 years prior to joining our team. Her knowledge of small business operations allows her to take a personal interest in serving our clients. Amy has one son and they live on the City’s northeast side.

Marla joined the firm in April 2012 as our secretary and receptionist. Her primary responsibility is to serve clients and staff in a support role by organizing and managing the front office operations. Marla has a son, daughter and a best friend, Annie, a Bichon Frise and lives in Noblesville.
